Overview
The Adafruit SHT45 PTFE breakout brings Sensirion’s fourth-generation SHT4x sensing technology to an easy-to-integrate I2C module designed for demanding applications. Built around the high-precision SHT45-AD1F-R2, this version includes an integrated PTFE protective membrane for enhanced durability in dusty, humid, and harsh industrial environments.
Delivering ±1.0% RH typical accuracy (25–75% RH) and ±0.1°C typical temperature accuracy (0–75°C), the SHT45 is ideal for environmental monitoring, calibration systems, industrial control, HVAC validation, laboratory instrumentation, and embedded sensing systems where measurement integrity matters.
High-Accuracy Sensing You Can Trust
Unlike earlier SHT generations, the SHT45 provides a true I2C interface with CRC protection and FM+ support, making integration straightforward with microcontrollers, SBCs, and industrial controllers.
Performance Highlights:
- Humidity range: 0–100% RH
- Temperature range: −40°C to +125°C
- Fully functional in condensing environments
- Integrated heater for condensation management
- NIST-traceable measurements
- JEDEC JESD47 qualified reliability
- Sensor-specific ISO 17025:2017 calibration certificate
This makes it suitable not just for hobby use, but for professional and semi-industrial deployments.
