Overview

Measure strong magnetic fields with precision using the MLX90393 3-axis magnetometer breakout. Unlike typical magnetometers designed mainly for compass applications, the MLX90393 supports an exceptionally wide measurement range of ±5 mT to ±50 mT, making it ideal for detecting magnets, measuring magnetic orientation, and building magnetic sensing projects.

This breakout board integrates the MLX90393 sensor with a 3.3V regulator and logic level shifting, allowing seamless operation with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. Communication is handled via I²C, and address-select pins allow up to four sensors on the same bus. The board also features STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors, enabling quick plug-and-play wiring without soldering.

Whether you're building robotics projects, magnetic position sensors, or experimenting with magnet detection, this compact breakout makes it easy to capture accurate magnetic field data in three axes.
