Overview
Meet the Raspberry Pi 5, the exciting new evolution of our beloved Raspberry Pi 4. It's like the Pi 4 on steroids! We've cranked up the CPU performance by 2-3 times and given the GPU a serious boost. But that's not all – we've also made improvements to the camera, display, and USB connections, taking your Raspberry Pi experience to new heights.
One of the most exciting things about the Raspberry Pi 5 is the RP1 I/O controller chip, which we designed right here at Raspberry Pi HQ. It's our very own piece of silicon on our flagship product, and we couldn't be prouder.
What's New!

About Raspberry Pi
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a UK-based charity that works to put the power of computing and digital making into the hands of people all over the world. We do this so that more people are able to harness the power of computing and digital technologies for work, to solve problems that matter to them, and to express themselves creatively.
