Overview
Cytron MDDRC10 is a plug-and-play dual-channel brushed DC motor driver designed for RC vehicles and mobile robots. It accepts RC receiver input directly, so you can control two motors without coding or additional signal conversion hardware.
With support for mixed mode and independent mode, the board is well suited for differential-drive robots, RC lawn mowers, combat robots, sumo robots, and other custom RC builds. In mixed mode, one channel handles throttle while the other handles steering; in independent mode, each RC channel controls one motor separately.
The driver operates from 7V to 30V DC and delivers up to 10A continuous per channel, with onboard protections for overcurrent, temperature, and undervoltage. A built-in 5V switching regulator can power the RC receiver up to 500mA. Important: the power input has no reverse-polarity protection, so reversing the battery connection can damage the board instantly.
